Sing a Song!
For those of us preparing for a season of long travel to family holiday events, the journey there can be murder. Our generation is perhaps the last to know about “Over the River and Through the Woods” o the dreaded “99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall”, as reliable car stereo systems have made the need for this kind of musical malaise unnecessary.
Still, there’s something to be said for a sing-a-long on a long car trip. A good sing-a-long keeps the driver awake, occupies the kids, and sometimes, in some families, just sounds like heaven. (Just don’t get obsessive about it, like Derek from STEPBROTHERS!)
